Who is Nanny Sam?
I am Samantha Rosam, an award wining cake designer who created Nanny Sam's Cakes back in 2018.
These are my grand daughters whom call me “Nanny Sam” which made my company name an easy one to create.
I live with my husband and crazy labradoodle Rosze in Lee On The Solent, Hampshire. When I am not baking and creating my luxury bespoke cakes I like to spend time outside with my family and friends making memories.
I am based in Lee On The Solent which is located on the south coast of England opposite The Isle of Wight, I live a stones throw from the beach where Rosze loves to go swimming.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 28 years old so when Nanny Sam's Cakes fund raise I like to raise funds for "Save the Boobies" which helps breast cancer in the young.
I am a fun and creative person, I have spent many years in customer service roles and pride myself with exceptional client relation skills - I like to get to know my clients personally so I understand the story behind the cake I have been commissioned as it gives me insight I can relay into the design.
Making and designing cakes is a passion which I throw myself into giving each order 110% of me. I am a perfectionist and attention to detail is a priority so you know any order you allow me to produce will hopefully exceed your expectations.
It is a honour to work in the luxury cake industry, being part of a special day be it a wedding, a birthday or milestone celebration illustrates my clients like my work and trust be with their centrepiece.
I create luxury bespoke cakes for all occasions and specialise in wedding cakes, my wedding clients are throughout Hampshire and I offer delivery and set up of their special cakes to venues . Celebration and smaller wedding cakes can be collected or delivered.
